Researchers in Egypt have made a big discovery: 30 ancient wooden coffins, all with mummies inside. It’s the African nation’s biggest ancient coffin find in more than a century. Experts say the coffins, known as sarcophagi, are around 3,000 years old and well preserved. They feature carvings, vibrant paint, and hieroglyphics. The coffins were discovered in Luxor, a royal capital of ancient Egypt. Archaeologists will study the sarcophagi to learn more about the people buried in them and their ancient world.
